Tefillah / Prayer

“A scientific theory, once it is announced and accepted, does not have to be repeated twice a day. The insights of wonder must be constantly kept alive. Since there is a need for daily wonder, there is a need for daily worship.” — Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel

Worship at Congregation Kehillath Israel is traditional egalitarian.

We invite you to join us for services at KI.

Everyone is welcome here: couples, singles, families (including interfaith families), young, old and everyone in between.

In addition to Shabbat Services and Daily Minyan, we hold several special services for children and young families, as well as numerous opportunities for learning.
