IMPORTANT NOTES 1. It is our policy that no Jew be denied membership at KI due to financial constraints. Anyone who wants to be affiliated and is unable to pay full dues may submit a confidential request for a dues reduction.
2. Synagogue Membership is a REQUIREMENT for entrance into our religious school. Tuition for the religious school is included in your dues. The only additional cost to you is a materials fee to cover the cost of books. The cost of each child's Jewish education is substantially more than the amounts you are charged. In order to continue to provide your child(ren) with this high quality Jewish education, we must insist on the timely payment of your obligations.
3. KI has recently instituted a unilateral building fund that will be used to fund repairs to the Kehillath Israel Synagogue and Epstein buildings. The cost of the building fund is $300 for a family and $150 for an individual.
4. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Please pay 50% (half) of your dues by July 15, 2007. Final payment is due by October 15, 2007.
5. An "Individual Membership" is for a one-person family. All other households, however constituted, are assessed "Family Membership" fees. Single-parent families are eligible for a $100.00 discount off the stated "Family Membership" fees on an as-needed basis.
6. "Individual Membership" includes one (1) non-refundable High Holiday ticket.
"Family Membership" includes two (2) non-refundable High Holiday tickets.
7. The KI membership benefits of priority for KI Nursery School (KINS) enrollment, priority on the KINS wait list and the KI member discount become available only when synagogue family dues are paid in full. Families who receive priority placement on the KINS waiting list agree to maintain their membership at KI at least as long as their child is enrolled at KINS.
