POLICIES
Kashrut: Since KI Youth Department is part of Congregation Kehillath Israel, an affiliated Conservative Congregation. When you are at any Youth Department event, you must adhere to the rules of Kashrut. We do not eat meat, poultry or any hot-dairy products when we are on an outing; pretty much only cold dairy and vegetarian. If you are asked to bring a bagged lunch, make sure it is dairy, and that all ingredients are acceptable. If you have any questions, the staff is always willing to help.
Do the right thing: KI Youth Department
has a zero-tolerance policy for use of drugs, alcohol and/or cigarettes.
In addition, stealing of any sort, including shop-lifting is not acceptable
as per our policy. Strict adherence to this policy is required for membership.
Any violation of this policy can result in a member being sent home at
his/her own expense and even possible expulsion from the program.
