A note from Jon Nelson, Youth Educator...
Welcome everyone... My name is Jon Nelson and I'll be Kehillath Israel's Youth Educator this year. In addition to heading up
our Youth Department, I'll also be advising our Kadima group. I've already gotten to know many of you last year as our shul's
Midrash Educator and Song leader, and for those of you I haven't met... I'm really looking forward to touching base very soon.
We're very excited about the coming year and we've gotten off to a great start, increasing membership and planning lots of great
events. We look forward to providing lots of fun & Judaically enriching programming for our Kadima , Junior and Senior USYers.
Our Youth Department be offering both chapter & regional events as well as monthly lounges at KI throughout the year. Please
look for monthly USY Calendar mailings throughout the coming year.
If you haven't already done so… PLEASE REMEMBER TO FILL OUT & SEND IN YOUR KI Youth Dept. Registration & Parental
Consent Form. You may have already received a form in the mail, but if not, please call or email and we'll mail you out a form right
away. Parents… if you could also provide us with your email address that would be really helpful. We want to be able to email
you as well as the kids re: chapter news, events, cancellations, etc. There's a line for your email address on the registration form.
