KI is launching a new Congregational Education Initiative!
The new initiative is called Hadran: Growing Prideful Fluent Participants in Jewish Life. It will impact each of KI’s five clusters; Torah (learning), G’milut Chesed (acts of kindness) , Kehilah (community), Avodah (prayer and worship) and Terumah (administration). The word Hadran literally means to beautify and to return to. As the goal of education at KI is to enhance and return to our Jewish knowledge so that we might each deepen and strengthen our Jewish living and learning, we chose to call our initiative Hadran

Hadran is designed to give you more choice in where, when and how your child engages in KIRS.
Please note:
Information for families with children enrolled in Jewish Day School and Jewish Pre School
This year we are asking that all KI kids have registration forms on file.
If your child is currently enrolled in Day School or in a Jewish Pre School, please complete one of these registration form for each child.
Day School families are encouraged to be a part of the Monthly Sunday enrichment experiences. There is a fee for these programs. The Payment Plan / Financial Aid Request Form can be used to inform us of how you wish to pay program fees. As always, program fees should not prevent any child or family from participating in KI programming. Scholarships are available. If you need scholarship assistance please indicate that on the Payment Plan / Financial Aid Request Form.
All students becoming B’nai Mitzvah between September 2006 and August 2007 are expected to participate in the B’nai Mitzvah seminar. There is a fee for the B’Nai Mitzvah Seminar. The Payment Plan / Financial Aid Request Form can be used to inform us of how you wish to pay the seminar fee. As always, fees should not prevent any child or from participating in KI programming. Information for Adult Learners (Post B’Nai Mitzvah Students, Adults, YLDers, Seniors)
We have included a menu of Hadran opportunities for the adult learners in our community. Please indicate your interest in the many adult learning opportunities being offered next year on the Hadran Interest Form for Adult Learners. Completing this form will help us in planning for next year.
